Help finding perfect Asus Mainboard 1151

Hi Guy´s

Today i need you help to decide what Asus Mainboard i should buy.

first only Z170 chipset

so I need a Mainboard with minimum 7 x 4-pin fan header´s and a Board/Bios that allow me to switch between pwm and dc fan control mode so that i can configure a 0 rpm mode for my fan´s in Idle. (very imported)

2 x pcie x16 slot for 2 way SLI

My choice would be the Asus Z170 Sabertooth Mark 1.

If you have a better Idear for me, please tell me.

Thx

Max

Why not check PC partpicker for all of the board?

Also you're not likely to find 7 headers on boards. Most I've seen is 6 and that was an Asus WS board.

the z170 sabertooth mark 1 has 6  case fan headers and 1 cpu header = 7

I only want to know witch Mainboard from asus support a switch between Pwm and DC mode so that i can configure a 0 rpm mode for my fan´s in idle.

Quick question: why would you want to do? Just use some low RPM fans (#Corsair's new maglev thingies) and you won't hear them, while still providing some passive cooling.

Maximus VIII (8) I think. I don't know about the fan mode though since I make the fans spin silently even when under load to balance pressure.

You could do what I plan and get a fan splitter. Basically it runs multiple fans off one fan header and it does support pwm only it will come with one of the splitters 4-pin and the others will be 3-pin. From what I understand the other split 3-pins will copy the pwm configuration of the 4-pin.

What I Wang to do is connect all of my exhaust fans this way and then have my three intake fans on their separate pwm headers.

If I'm incorrect here someone please correct me. <_<
