Could you double-check my *final* build?

Disclaimer: I realize that is similar to a previous thread I made, however, this one is for a different build that I am currently happy with. It's just more updated, tbh.

BUDGET: $1700 CAD - Trying to go for a blue theme so I got that cheap case.

Programs I am going to run & Multitask:

  • Photoshop
  • Aftereffects
  • Windows Defender
  • Iobit Advanced System Care
  • Iobit Malware Fighter
  • TeamSpeak
  • Minecraft
  • Eclipse
  • Netbeans
  • iTunes
  • FileZilla
  • Skype
  • Chrome (Multiple tabs & Streaming)
  • PuTTy
  • Gyazo
  • Twitch Streaming
  • YouTube video rendering and such
  • OpenVPN
  • WireShark
  • Notepad++

My current specs (prebuilt system):

  • i3-550
  • 4 GB DDR3 RAM - ~1300MHz
  • Some random AMD GPU - 512MB DDR5
  • 300W PSU
  • 60Hz Monitor

That thing is like 5+ years old^

I really need an upgrade for my PC because my current one gets it's ass kicked when running Chrome + another application. The RAM runs through the roof and I'd rather not upgrade the RAM. I just want a brand new PC where I can actually use Photoshop.

I am also looking to:

  • Run max settings for games like CSGO, Minecraft, League at 1080P 144Hz
  • Overclock CPU to 4.5GHz

you might wanna get another ssd or a hard drive youll run out of space super fast with only 250 Gb

maybe an hdd for additional space since 250 isn't that much especially after windows, applications etc.

I use Google Drive for my storage. After 5+ years of my current HDD, I still have only used ~130 GBs total; all files.

I would go with something like a Cryorig H7 cooler, they're not too expensive and work well.

I would also pick a better PSU. I don't think many people are going to agree with me, but the CX power supplies aren't really that good. For a little bit more money you could get something like a Super Flower, XFX or Antec PSU that would last a lot longer (in my opinion.)

That would fuck my income. I get money from Americans(mainly) buying stuff from my gaming server.

I would suggest you keep the d15 and get a higher end psu, evga g2/p2 are the best out there today imo.

Do you really need an optical drive? Not because they're expensive, but because they're hella loud and most people will just have them collect dust after installing windows

I need mine because a lot of things still use CD drivers to install drivers. Like my router.

EVGA is apparently overpriced for their quality.

I'd rather use water cooling over air.

Will that cooler be enough for a 4.5 GHz overclock?

no, it won't

people seriously need to stop putting the 212 on K CPUs - it's not magic
