Upgrade my existing gaming pc

Hi can you help me I decided to upgrade my existing gaming pc the specs is i7 2600 8gigs ram 1gig gddr5 gtx 460. Can you pls help me  it's best to go to go i5 6600k or i7 6700 I want to save some bucks. Thankyou

tbh i7 2600 is kinda top of the line even though it is a second gen and old. better of with new gpu

Don't bother upgrading your CPU, it is better to upgrade your GPU if gaming. What is your budget and location/currency? I would suggest looking at the RX 480 or 1060. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Agreed about the GPU first, but if you still want to switch platform both are good gaming options. HT on the I7 you don't really miss for gaming. That leaves the increased performance vs cost debate. But with a decent OC a 6600K can get a good enough boost for the years to come. I always recommend a 6500(K) and up for gaming.

 

You can ofcourse buy GPU now and safe for platform later.
