Hahaha yeah it's a nice little gesture of them. Also the new tool kit is sweet stuff. Considering trying their other tools too, any one tried them?

I would like to have a set like it, because I often have to look for a specific screwdriver or bit (like hex or tri wing) and iFixit seems to have it in one nice package

Yeah, that seems to be a thing with iFixit; a lot of small tools, rather than a couple big ones.

i have that kit, i got it around half a year ago and i love it!

(only thing is that i managed to strip an umbraco bit because i was trying to loosen a screw that had been glued in with black loctite (black loctite is a thread glue that wont come off with heat and will generaly be impossible to loosen) i didnt know that the screw was glued down so i used a bunch of force to twist the screw and it rounded the bit)

tl;dr: hardened screw + black loctite = you are not going to get that out....

Ah that sucks, but isn't there a lifetime warranty on these?

Yeah got pretty much all you need in it, but I want the pc all in one driver and maybe those wrenches, but I'm pretty happy for now..
