Are the motherboards in slim workstations standard ATX?

Maximoose

You know those slim tower workstations, if I wanted to transfer the motherboard to a full size case, would the motherboard be an ATX or some form of ATX Board?

Got an Android, never going back to apple again (notice I spelled apple with a lowercase and Android with an uppercase)

some times, the boards in these OEM systems are not standard

some times they don't even use standard power connectors, thus non standard PSUs

Most of the time they are oem, but if you are lucky they are BATX which is a variation of matx but is a square shape (this pc isnt one) they share the same screw holes and will fine in almost any matx case, but dont get your hopes up as most of these are just oem

Its BTX.

Btx was made so the cpu was at the front and got fresh air.

Its comes in the same sizes as atx, you just need a special cooler.

They generally use mATX - however the front panel on/off switch and related IO are usually proprietary

I know. I remvoed a board from the very PC pictured and used it in a normal ATX case however I had to take the power button along with it and hang it out the side of the case.

Dosnt BTX swap the IO and PCIE slot side? None of the Optiplexs I have ever worked with are BTX
