My computer wont start

So this is my first computer that i did build myself. I connected all cabels and it allmost worked. The only problem is that my cpu error light turns on and does no put out eny video or enything. My cpu is fx-8350 and my mb is asus pro gaming aura 970. So if enyone can help me please.

what are the full specs? can you make a pcpartpicker list?

btw your cpu is bottlenecking your 1070. you should have gone intel or saved $200 bucks by going with the 1060

Check the ram... make sure the ram cards are fully connected

Also there is a quarter sized battery that sometimes may need to be replaced.

A piece of hardware may have failed, or you didn't plug every thing in right.
