Wanting recommendations for new GPU also side question

So my computer specs are the following

MoBo: ASUS A88X-Pro

CPU: AMD A10 6800k

RAM: x2 Cosair Vengence Pro (2x8)

HDD: I have an older 1TB HDD that I use for mass storage

SSD: Kingston V300

PSU: EVGA 750 BQ

 

Now that I have specs out of the way, My general budget is 90-200 USD. I do not wish to exceed that, however, if I need to I can just save up. What I do with my computer is mainly HTML programming, video editing on a fairly small scale, and a bit of gaming. The kinds of games I play are "Minecraft", "Fallout New Vegas", "CSGO", and other not too demanding games. Due to my little knowledge I've kinda set out to get a 3GB card or a 4GB card with a core clock of at least  1000. I've had trouble finding a card like this, however I thought it'd be a good idea to talk to the community first to see some suggestions. This is the first build I have ever done so recommendations are super helpful! Also about my side question, as of right now i'm running Linux Mint 18 cinnamon on this PC, I do know however that the Mobo and other parts do not necessarily support Linux. Can this be a problem in the future, even though its running now?

GTX 1060 3GB. Or, if you like AMD, RX 480 4GB. If you can save get a 1080 6GB (250) or a RX480 8GB (230-280)
