The apu cores will do better since they are a new architecture. And the pentium is awful for gaming. I would suggest a 860k/880k, and a rx 460. •E5-2670 @2.7GHz • Intel DX79SI • EVGA 970 SSC• GSkill Sniper 8Gb ddr3 • Corsair Spec 02 • Corsair RM750 • HyperX 120Gb SSD • Hitachi 2Tb HDD •
 I think you mean q6600, and that is ancient, and a newer 880k will crush it, as well as decent 775 boards are expensive, and usually ddr2. Posted September 12, 2016 Your poll needs a 4th option - "None of the above" But, if I had to choose, I'd probably go for the A10 since it has more, faster, newer cores than the FX-4300. A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve. i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD
 Posted September 14, 2016 I don't know what's available to you, or euro prices. I'd suggest going with the A10-7890K or some version of Athlon X4 (845/860/etc) plus an RX 460 depending upon budget. Or, perhaps, an FX-6300/6350 + RX 460. But not the FX-4300 A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve. i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD
 Posted September 15, 2016 The FX-4300 is a very bottom-end CPU. You'd find that you'd get rather poor fps in most games. Overall you'd be better off with the A10-7890K rather than the FX-4300 + RX 460. The RX 460 might be capable of better graphics than the A10, but the FX-4300 would be much poorer CPU-wise. (The G4400 would also be better than the FX-4300) A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve. i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD
