I need 1060 for gpu intensive flight sim and lots of other games. I don't want i5 because its older and I don't want to overclock to get to same clock speed of new when I can just get the 6700K

I'm getting 6700K so I don't need to overclock because it has 4.0 Ghz clock speed. If I can I will overclock it. (have the option to)

I don't want to overclock because its unnecessary. The games I will be getting don't need to be overclocked but do need the 4 Ghz base clock speed. Also I can bost it instead of overclock it m8

Dude you can't overclock with H170 chipset

your reason for wanting the i7 6700k is fair enough, you will get a small speed bump in games over an i5. and maybe in the future you might want to OC (it's easy and safe), just bear in mind you will need a Z170 mob to do that.

 

as for the graphics, if you want to get the i7 for the extra performance it will get you, I think it would be worth saving extra to get the gtx 1070 for exactly the same reason.

The first accurate question ! Second why do you want an i-k processor if you not gonna clock it? Third why you want to add cheap fans in a build like this instead of buying a quality case like NZXT s340 or a bit more expensive FD DEFINE R5 ?

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/4f2ygL if you're not satisfied with the speed of the processor buy a cooler  noctua or something like that for 50 buks and then you can do overclocking for 300-400 hertz more...

I don't want to get the gtx 1060 because its a waste of money to get an extra 2GB. I know that I went for the K version but the 1060 is more than enough for what I need it more.

I was thinking about buying Phantek Eclipse P400 which comes with their fans so thats what I meant but I could just buy some corsair fans. I don't want to spend that much on a case or fans so buying a case that comes withs fans would be ideal
