Nope don't do it. Only upgrade if you really need it or there is a 50% perf boost. Kaby lake is right around the corner too which would probably yield a 20% or 25% bump. Then again ZEN is coming and no ones knows what that brings

The i7s on 1150 are still quite good. Just like everyone else said you are still good. I'd be upgrading monitors, gpu, peripherals, desk, chair, etc... before thinking about a platform a swap.
