so i recently and (finally put together my pc and im getting 253 (core) and 405 (mem) on my GTX 1070 ZOTAC AMP! edition

my Build::

I5 6600k

NZXT Kraken x61

Gigabyte G.1 Sniper Z170

1x4GB of crucial (i had another but that broke)

Zotac Amp Gtx 1070

3TB HDD @ 7.2k RPM

a 256GB M.2 SSD

EVGA Supernova G2 750w

Phanteks Eclipse P400s

Dendrotoxin

CPU: i5 6600k @ 4Ghz | GPU: Zotac AMP! 1070 @ 2GHz | RAM Crucial Balistix 2x4GB | PSU EVGA G2 750w | Cooler: NZXT Kraken x61 | Case Phanteks Eclipse P400s | Motherboard Gigabyte G1 Gaming Z170 | Storage: Toshiba 3TB HDD and MyDigitalSSD M.2 256GB

I get 240 MHz on my 1060 when idle. If you are getting it under load, then that's an issue.
