Linux based office pc

Hello!

Is AMD FX-4300, GT 710 2gb and 8 gb 1600 mhz RAM enough for LibreOffice, internet browsing and for watching videos in 1080p? I'm pretty sure that it will be enough but I just want to check.

@AlphaGamer46 Thank you! Do you know any cheaper way? Like an cheap APU or something?

maybe an i3, pentium with the iGPU? it will do even better than the gt 710.

you could also get an i3 and it would do the job just fine, if u want to go the intel way. And Intel HD graphics will be enough for that.

main(){
  extrn a,b,c;
  putchar(a); putchar(b); putchar(c); putchar('!*n');
  }

a 'hell';
b 'o, w';
c 'orld';

@herman mcpootis What about AMD A6-7400k APU without the gpu?

its fine, but a skylake pentium with the built-in iGPU will be better.

To be honest, if all you want is to use Libre Office and watch some 1080p videos you should just buy used business pre-builts.  You could get a used Dell for quite cheap and it will work well with Linux.

You don't really need to go out of your way to build a desktop for office work.

Now if you want to play some games or do production work then build it.
