Non-Binned chips & Overclocking

I've just bought my gtx 980ti XTREME Gaming but it is the one that is only slightly overclocked boosting up to 1114 MHz instead of the 1350 MHz found on the other XTREME model. Is there a chance that I can at least overclock it to 1350 granted I got a good chip or is that it's max limit. Thanks

So the only difference between them is that one is slightly higher clocked than the other? I know it's a noob question but I thought that the slighly lower clocked chips were bad overclockers that's why they have lower clocks

No its  because fac overclocking cost money to do

Just because it's not binned does not mean it can't reach those highs clock speeds.

Doesn't binned mean that they check how good it can be overclocked. If it over clocks good then they put it in their top, highly factory oc'd, cards otherwise the bad ones goto the lower end cards.

Almost all 980tis can do over 1300 or 1400MHz binned or not, the ones that are sold as "binned" just get higher factory overclocks.

You can overclock the card yourself and 99% of the time get higher than factory overclocks.

No they test a few from a batch

my mates got the 980ti Lightning that only clocks too 1370 MHz max lol

and mine hit 1485mhz

and iv seen reference that hit 1500 so luck of the draw really 

the only guarantee is the stock clock on the box
