Hello there! My friend is getting a gaming pc and his parents won't let him build one. I wanted to know which of these PCs would be better. He is basically only gaming. You can also suggest another system

The first($600):

-2x XFX AMD Radeon HD 7750 Ghost GPUs in CrossfireX
-16 GB (2x8) of Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 RAM.
-Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard
-2TB WD 5900 RPM HDD
-Ultra 750W ATX Power Supply
-DVD Reader/Writer
-Integrated 7.1 Channel Surround Sound
-Multiple fans and a fan controller
-Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
-Thermaltake Level 10 ATX Mid-Tower Case.

The second($700):

neither of those are particularly great, one has way outdated hardware and the other is not a great value, would you consider building a computer? or should I help you find a prebuilt?

Broke 14 Year old + No job + Love for Technology = Bad combo :(

As I stated my friend's parents won't let him build a pc. They think he will break something. If you could find a better prebuilt that would be good

We've had many people with this problem, show them videos, threads, people who say it's easy and how parts come with warranties making it, some easier than others to replace. Most importantly, have him confidence.

I doubt his parents will back down. This is especially true because he knows very little about computers. I offered to help him build it but his parents said they prefer not to place expensive components in a friend

Have him do research, you don't even have to touch the parts just guide him through it. Hell it'll probably be better to buy the parts have a local shop build it for him.
