"

Cause

A device driver is spinning in an infinite loop, most likely waiting for hardware to become idle.

This usually indicates problem with the hardware itself, or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Frequently, this is the result of a bad video card or a bad display driver.

accelerated processing unit - means my cpu is both CPU and GPU

Most of the AMD driver issues are fixable with a fresh install of windows as sometimes the actual driver may have corrupted files within the windows display driver system. That happened to me and a fresh install of windows cleaned out my PC and after that, my PC now runs smoothly without a hitch. (only do this as a last resort though)

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.

yes i reinstalled windows 10 a lot of time already, but i think it's the crimson driver's fault.

i reinstalled it like 10 times and it's still like this

Have you tried an older driver? You can install a driver from a couple revisions back, the worst that happens is you lose out on a few optimizations.

Best case is it stops your crashes for now and maybe the next driver release will be more stable.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

Try a SCF scannow command in cmd to diagnose errors.

yes i tried an older driver, like the catalyst, but i'm on windows 10, it just reinstalls the latest. how can i stop windows from automatic updating the display driver?

how can i do that?

Open Command prompt as administrator and then type in "sfc /scannow" without the quotation marks. Then press enter, from that point it will take time checking windows for corruptions.

Wait for it to finish checking and if it says errors were found and fixed then restart your PC if not then it may be a driver bug or even hardware issue.
