Audio comparison test

I am currently planning to buy a Asus Xonar u3 usb sound card for my laptop and is there any software that lets me benchmark or compare the specs and performance of my on board audio so that i can compare it with my new sound card after i have purchased it ?

FX 6300 @ 4.2 Gigahurtz 1.325V ,  ASRock 970 Extreme 4 mobo  ,  Kingston Hyperx Blu 2X4GB @1600Mhz  , Asus GTX 960 DCU ii Black OC  , Hyper 212 Evo , Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB , WD 1 TB caviar Green , Xonar DG sound card , Seasonic M12ii Evo 620W PSU , Corsair 200R case ,4 random case fans.

There's hardware you can use to measure stuff, but it's quite expensive.

There are free programs around that you can use to get the frequency response of your audio device, but you'll find that they'll nearly all be identical.  The other two things that can be tested for require rather expensive equipment. They are THD and the noise floor.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
