so i'm trying to make a pc build for a friend that wants to play fallout 4 and sims 4 at 1080p 60fps. here's the list i've managed to scrape up (started off with a few builds made by people on this forum, and lists from other places)

the budget is $500. though i'm tempted to swap out the 950 for a 470, but raises the price a bit. alternatively i can get an atx board

Get a RX 460 instead of 950, or wait for the 1050.

the 460 sounds promising, but i don't think my friend wants to wait for the 1050.

another bit too is that the friend already has a keyboard and mouse, but doesn't have a monitor or a windows copy.

For those games and that CPU you can probably cheap out a bit on the mobo too since it won't produce mad heat for the VRMs. And technically you can build a case out of wood... technicolorslly. 

fallout 4 is a bit heavy on the CPU side though so i think the i3 is a safe bet.
