I'm still student. I'm trying to save as much money as I can to build a pc that is capable of running games at a decent frame rate. I'm currently using a dell inspiron 1545 which was kind of a beast in 2009 but is literally shit right now.

This build is pretty solid, I would say @NormalDude if you have an internal drive on the laptop you can pull out use that and swap out the 1TB hard drive for maybe a 120GB SSD.
