Okay it seems random but mainly when I am using Chrome, never when I am gaming, my computer freezes and I finally had task manager open before it did it. I still couldn't take screenshots during but I got them right after because the PC goes unresponsive. The SSD is fine and I know that because I have already ran CrystalMark on it... Etc. Why the heck is this happening?

Are you on Windows 10?
Look up something like.... "Windows 10 high disk usage" and you should find some solutions.

I quit using 10 cause I found it buggy...

Yes, I am currently on Windows 10. I will go search up some solutions however I would love for someone who has had this problem tell me what solved it for them. Yeah I have found a few bugs on it as well.

I figured I've give you the best help I could since I don't use it and didn't solve the problem (I changed OS).

Ok so what security software are you using? Did you try uninstalling it?

Uninstalled MalwareBytes 5 hours ago... Freezing has happened multiple times before and after doing so. I know this is a software problem, due to the write and read speed while it's happening to be what it should be (factory written stats). This is super frustrating... Also, I have done the disable windows notifications, Chromes predictive for faster web page loading, and many more methods all over the internet. I have run Ccleaner as well.

I would try to disable some of the "system auto performance improving" things in Windows 10. This is a good video on it with really good reviews. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Mbrw1x0LzU

Thanks for the video mate. I will try this out.

I had a very similar issue. Mine was fixed by updating the ACHI drivers, you can download them from your motherboard manufacturers website.

If you a try a different web browser, like Edge or Firefox, or Opera (which uses Chrome engine), does it still happen?

Yeah, it only happens with Chrome. No other browser or game.

How about using a different version of Chrome?

Like Chromium? What do you mean another version? Like an older/beta version of Chrome? If so no I have not tried it.

Older version of Chrome, or beta version of Chrome? Maybe there is a bug with your system configuration with the specific version of Chrome?
