I have an Intel DQ35MP motherboard with 4gb ddr2 800mhz ram (2x2) and Sapphire HD 7770 1gb.

Yesterday I changed my processor from Core 2 Duo E8400 to Core 2 Quad Q9400. I'm able to get into bios, the new processor is detected there. It just gets stuck on the windows 10 loading screen with no spinning wheel. It is just the black screen and the blue windows logo.

My motherboard  does support this new processor. I have tried turning it on with just a single ram stick, same thing happens. Please help.

From my personal experience, since Windows 8.1 I can't access the safe mode unless Windows prompts up the mode menu by itself or I go in msconfig and choose it. It may be because of my SSD, but smashing F8 never worked for me neither in 8.1 or in 10.

thats dumb , there is a way to access recovery tools tho , wich enables you to open a CMD to force safe mode , there is a guide somewhere on the web
