Hi everyone!

So I'm new to PC building and I've never built one myself but I'm planning on doing so in the near future. I was making a list on pcpartpicker when I noticed something that might be common sense for experienced builders, but I'm unsure about it. The motherboard I chose says it's only compatible with DDR4-2133 / 2400 memory type, and the RAM I chose is DDR4-3000, but pcpartpicker says that there are no compatibility issues in my build. So my question is are the RAM sticks I chose compatible with the mobo or not? If anyone is wondering, the mobo is the Asus SABERTOOTH Z170 S ATX LGA1151 Motherboard and the RAM is the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory. Oh and by the way, I would really appreciate it if someone took a look at the build I'm planning on doing and told me if there are any flaws with it! Thanks!

you're fine . The board won't support it at 3000mhz out of the box ( it'll boot at around 2133 ) . You'll have to enable XMP to get the full speed

Also , do you have a link for your build ?

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

Your build was also quite solid . If you don't like the compromises i made on this one , then i would just advise to get a different psu in your build
