I can never recommend a PSU under 100$ the odds are you are just getting a low quality unit. personally just save up and get a CoolerMaster V700 and you will be happy even with a high end GPU setup like a GTX 780.

That gpu costs more than my whole pc lol. I know that the psu is imortant, but for a $600 pc I can take the risk that I could lose my motherboard.

You could lose the entire system not just a motherboard.

I'm just trying to help you make a better decision. i was running a cheap 500watt PSu in my system and all i have is a 3570K and a GTX 460 but that PSu damn near took out my entire system when it randomly exploded. I had a post somewhere with pictures but a low quality PSu is not the way to go even if it works at first. Mine was a serious fire hazard and i didn't even know.
