Which ones do I need? I will be getting a 290x but just used the 780 as a price holder so i knew how much it was :P

One of the cheaper ones. I'm currently using it, works for my triple display.

Also you don't need AS5. The tube of paste the Noctua comes with is plenty good. You only need 1 adapter, one monitor can run off HDMI, the other DVI, and the third displayport.

What do you mean no? I have the exact same setup that I described and it works fine.

Very sorry that I thought you were wrong. I read their post wrong. Put the 2 monitors only have DVI and one VGA will that adapter still work?

Then you can use HDMI-> DVI, one plugged in with DVI, and one with Displayport-> DVI, and you should be set.
