GPU watecooling

Which 1080 would you watercool? Will thhe reference design by nVidia be fine or would you personally go for a partner solution (like the Asus Geforce gtx 1080 Strix OC Edition)?

I'd go for founder's edition cards. Those tends to have much more water block options. 

Many custom designs don't have water blocks for them unless they are popular models.

I agree with hugemon to a point.  The founder's edition cards will have the most options for water blocks.  But you can also go with a partner solution like the MSI Aero GTX1080.  It's not technically a FE card but it does have a reference PCB so it works with all the same waterblocks.  THE FE cards are just overpriced.  Especially when you are just going to pull the cooler off the card to replace it.

Yea I bought my strix and the blocks sold out everywhere. Ended up taking the card back anyway. But Id will be getting a fe version soon enough. Wont ever be buying anything aside from NVidia or evga again.
