That guy is an idiot and no wonder he works at a bank. Are you sure you plugged everything in?

I would definitely check the RAM.

If it is ECC (Error Correcting) RAM on a non-ECC motherboard it's probably not gonna work.

Do you have the motherboard model number?

i knew it but i will look for it now

And my ram was Silver and some people said that it was server ram PLZ HELP

ECC RAM will usually still work in a board that doesn't support it. Registered RAM will not work since they have extra pins.

You're right! Thanks for correcting me.

Common mistake. People confuse registered/buffered with ECC.

Probably something not plugged in or some wires might be busted (which sometimes happens, depending on your cable management).

First thing you can do is try to start it up without the GPU, see if it works.

If that doesn't work, then make sure the PSU works on an already working PC, check the cables for any tears.

Check the RAM on an already working PC.

If those 2 work, check CPU on an already working PC.

If everything works, then it's definitely the motherboard.

It might not be your fault at all, things tend to break. I had a MB breaking on me out of the box.
