Cheap soundcard

Go to solution Solved by h264,

Meh, I only listen to industrial in the electronic area.

I prefer on-ear to earbuds.

http://amzn.com/B0001ARCFA

It's a full sized headphone.

I'd like to get a cheap soundcard for less than ~70-80 dollars (us). I'm thankful for any help :D

what headphones do you have?

I use skullcandy hesh's when I'm gaming alone or listening to music. Other than that I use X12's as my headset.

Inputs, outputs, use?

Basic outputs i guess, I don't plan on hooking up my guitar to my pc, haha.

I'll look into it, thx :D

Looking at your headphones, I'd rather get better headphones with the money. :P An amp/dac won't help you if your headphones aren't good.

Hmm, any reccomendations for my price range. (I listen to a lot of metal folk, and some electronic (industrial master race) music so anything that will make those kinds of music sound good is good with me :D). btw, I don't know much about Soundcards/headphones/ect.

Don't really know about folk/electronic music but Grado SR80i's and SR60i's are great for rock and metal. There are more options out there, I'm sure one of the section's audiophiles will come in and give suggestions.

Yeah those are good options.

If you're into electronic music, then I would suggest the V-Moda Crossfade LP's, that's what I use for my electronic music, and they have AMAZING bass for the price.

There's also:

Eltimate Ears EU4000

Shure 440

Sony MDR-V6

JVC HARX700

Ultrasone HFI 580's

Meh, I only listen to industrial in the electronic area.

AKG K240s if you don't want an on-ear headphone.

I prefer on-ear to earbuds.

@ShearMe

I haven't tried that one, but I imagine comfort isn't the best.

and I don't know how well that will work out with both male and female vocals.

Will work for electronic components and parts
