Hello Everyone! So this is my first thread here on the forums (Please warn me if I'm breaking any forum rules) and I have this Acer aspire laptop that I'm currently using while I'm abroad.

I've been having a lot of "video tdr failure nvlddmkm.sys" BSoD's lately while in medium/heavy use (games/illustrator/photoshop). I have all drivers up to date and I don't know whats going on.

Oh and I can't also just have the main GPU working (when I deactivate the integrated it says while opening the NVIDIA driver that my display is not connected to any nvidia gpu...

Any help?

Thanks

use DDU and reinstall the drivers. If that fails - then the GPU is likely on it's way out

This is due to optimus,  don't disable any gpu's

Id try download the drivers from acer's site
