hey everyone,

so sunday my rma replacement arrived which is a xfx r9 fury triple D...

the car was working ok until today it started acting up an now its not being detected any more...

the power LED`s on the card are not lighting up and as i said motherboard is not seeing the graphics card (fans not spining either ) its like the card is not being initialized ...

its my 3rd faulty rma`ed card from XFX..and im not gonna even bother anymore i already paid what the card worth in shipping and taxes.... what i want to know is that is there anyway to fix this specific issue? what could be the cause in the card?

i dont think its the gpu itself because i didnt have any artifacts or screen glitching or anything last night it was working as it should...hell even 7hrs ago i loaded up bf1 beta and it was working fine but now its like nah man i`m done...

Have you tried using the PC for a longer period of time iGPU only? Removing the XFX out of the rig completely? That could help troubleshooting...
The motherboard is a hell of a mobo, so I think the problem could be the PSU by exclusion. It could be 850W are not real 850, so the GPU and CPU suck too much power and the PSU isn't a good one (Corsair, Arctic, EVGA, etc) so it just stops giving power to the GPU. You have a beefy CPU OC'd and a GPU which is an oven, so that's probably it.

i`ve been using igp for more than 2 month now... playing overwatch low setting @720p  + right now im using igp..

the psu is the one i can guarantee is not the issue ..... if its not better than corsair, evga, etc psus its not worse ...as i mentioned its made by highpower and that`s a big name....highpower even makes some of superflower`s evga psus nowadays ....(not their latest technology to be clear..)...

right now vga is in the rig and its don`t nothing just like if you connect pci-e power connectors to your vga but not installing it in the system ...except my card is installed and its doing nothing...

i tried two pci-e x16 slots both same result... will try to borrow another vga to be sure mb is fine... but my bet is on the vga...

Did you say you already sent it in rma?
What was the reason for it?

I guess tit would be too simple, but, how hot did the GPUs get in their short lifespans?

before the whole xfx radeon disaster that i`m having right now i had a asus 270x DCU 2 in my system for about 6-7 months i think ...on that thing i was gaming 24/7 (almost) and it was fine till i sold that and got the 390x which worked for a month i think and since then... i`m yet to have a proper gpu in my system ....my 1090t was good enough i upgraded to skylake just to use igp during the rma process now that i think of it i was better of buying another gpu instead of upgrading the platform...

If the XFX is still under warranty, they owe you repairs until it works unless something of yours broke it or you opened it up voiding the warranty. For taxes and shipping, they have to pay, because the product is actually broken.
