So anyone up for writing one?

I asked a while back what the amount of cores ment etc so I was hoping someone could explain the more advanced parts.

Also was thinking of maybe a poll of the best graphics card with in a price range most card for $50 are £50 etc. was think of catogories for every £50. Everyone seems to ask this.

generally its not worth breaking it down tosomething as small as a $50 incremant, the entry level card for most people is something like a 7770 (£100) then a step up to the 7850 (£140) then the £180 mark gets you a 7870(not worth it personally, you can get a 7870TLE for the same price), then the 7950 was £250 and the 7970 was £300ish, amd beat nvidia for the bang/buck for a while (linus has videos you can youtube it) especially when games were factored in. amd's prices have recently fallen like a stone and thier new cards are awesome value still and will settle in for a few weeks yet

generally you either A. buy the card you want because you have the money, or B. save up enough money to get a card that fulfills your needs.

I have a brand new hd6670 worth about £66 gbp new and most people regard it as low end because it wont do current titles at 1080p on high, despite the fact if your playing skyrim, gta4, world of tanks etc at 1366x768 or even 1680*1050 you can still get respectable frame rates. What a card is worth comes down to your own preference, I have a friend who cant tell the difference between his 9400gt and a 9600gt i let him try (yes i nearly disowned him), now ive experianced 60fps I will do what I have to to get it.
