I am planning to get a second monitor to be my primary display

This will be fro gaming on but i have a question, is it ok to have the second one as a browsing screen or will it cause my GPU to struggle, it is a ASUS Strix 960 4GB

I havent noticed any difference having a second monitor on while gaming. I have a 1070 though.

It should be fine being my fiend doe that with a 960 2gb. Just do not try loading a game off the second monitor or something very gpu intensive. It also depends on the screens resolution and refresh rate. If it not 4k monitor or something like that you should be fine.

The 2nd idle monitor will use negligible resources. Having 4 monitors and speaking from experience.

 

Unless you want to play two games at the same time. I do sometimes.
