RAM prices

Hey all!
 

As the title suggests, what is happening to RAM prices? Is it only happening here in Malaysia or is it going up globally? Why is it going up?
Im looking to build a PC some time later and i got a list of goodies i want already. I monitor the prices and i noticed that its actually going up!

The PC im wanna build is mainly gonna be used as a Minecraft Server and such. Lots of ram and CPU but lil less GPU power.

when I noticed this trend earlier this year I bought my 8gigs of 1600 ram for $45 and now the same kit costs $85
