I did a search on the forums for monoprice, but I didn't see a similar question.

I have heard a lot about monoprice, that they are cheap knockoffs, good value, bad value, high end, low end, ect. I wanted to know what you guys thought of them.

I bought some noise-cancelling headphones off them recently, and for me they work fine (but I won't claim to be a good judge of that). When I was looking for some cables, I checked out monoprice, and they were very cheap, and looked good (I ended up getting them at a brick and mortar near me because I didn't want to wait for a dual-monitor setup). This made me question them, because I am wary of when things look too good to be true. What do you guys think?

thanks.

They're pretty good for things sub-50 USD. Monoprice is my first stop (figuratively) when I need to buy cables in bulk. The prices for bulk ethernet are splendid as well from what I remember. If you want to buy anything over $50 (for a single item) I'd go to Newegg, Amazon, or the source.

Customer service is excellent as well which is a buying factor for me.
