GTX 960 4GB Driver Issue?

I'm experiencing a loss of frames in games like Overwatch and Battlefield 1 shortly after installing the new driver (372.70). I originally thought that since these games both just went through massive overhauls and updates that it was purely client side and it wasn't my problem. BUT then I noticed the same loss of frames on games like CS:GO where I know my rig can easily run @ a constant 300 FPS.

I just reverted back to driver 372.52 and I am still noticing loss of frames in the games listed above.

Now I'm beginning to get concerned, any potential solutions are appreciated.

My current Rig:

i7 4790K Devil's Canyon

GTX 960 4gb

Asus Sabertooth Z97-Mark 2 Motherboard

16GB RAM

4770k is not devil's canyon.  The 4790k is.

Also, it's highly possibly that there's a communication issue between the GPU and the driver.  Try rolling back until you find what works.  That, or there's just a problem with the games themselves.  Games aren't perfect, and when they get updated they can have optimization issues too and other bugs.

Oh thanks for catching that, was moving a little too fast for my hands. Yeah it's a 4790K.

*UPDATE*

Using the 3D Mark Time Spy Benchmark Direct x12 here are my results:

Graphics score
2 287
Graphics test 1
14.91 FPS
Graphics test 2
13.11 FPS
CPU test
4 396
CPU test
14.77 FPS

Not good, not good at all.
