I am a software developer and am looking to build a new development machine and NAS. I am planning on running unRAID for the NAS and then have multiple VM's for development and testing. I do mainly Java, Python, and nodejs development work. I run multiple databases, web servers, and application servers but not all at the same time.

I am looking at 2 builds not sure which is the better option or what other things I should consider when choosing.

I7-6800k and an I7-6700K

The I7 6800k would be a better choice but put in a better GPU for better performance and a better CPU Cooler to overclock more

I am planning on a cheaper cooler for now.  I want to watercool, but my old PC is dying and I don't have time to research that properly.
