my cousin had set up my aws server some time ago for my project and i recall using it for setting up a game host server about 3 weeks ago so it hadnt been too much since i used it. but i tried to connect to it yesterday and it seems to be offline. i tried to contact the support team but apparently technical support costs 24$ per month, so i hope if anyone here can help me, someone later may benefit too.

so tldr; my aws server is down, cant contact support team, what should i do?

Does the aws console say its up?

Is there a outage on the aws page?

Can you ping it?

Have you tried rebooting it?

no i cannot ping it in the first place so i think it is turned off or something. i dont think there is an outage.

The free level VPS is only free for the first year the AWSaccount is open. But I wouldn't expect it to just dissappear when it expires - you actually have to manually delete it, otherwise they will continue to charge you for the storage space it uses.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:
