Hello forum,

I'm quite new to this forum and already bought my new PC and built it myself yesterday and the HDD (Seagate 2TB) was working at first and after a system restart it wouldn't work and after a couple of retrying the SATA cable caught on fire :(.

Should I send back the HDD and the Power Supply because the fire was right next to the SATA cable and the power cable to the HDD.

At least the motherboard and so on looks fine even the SATA on the MOBO looks fine at least.

Sincere,

StarGhost
