so I emailed msi about some trouble with my laptop ( the screen wasn't working after suspension forcing me to restart the pc every time). I told them I had already tried updating my GPU drivers do they told me to update my bios and ec firmware. I started by updating the firmware and my pc blue screened. Now the screen is turned off, and the power button doesn't work... I've been emailing msi all day with no response. I'm begging you guys for some help, cause I'm freaking out...  Hope one of you has some idea what to do, thanks.

Wait, hang on, your computer BSOD while you were updating to the BIOS?

I would have thought updating the BIOS wouldn't require windows...

If you've fucked the BIOS chip in your lappy then...you're kinda fucked? MSI may fix it for you or whatever but depending on the motherboard, you may need a completely new one....which is never good...

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Firmware for what? Firmware=BIOS/UEFI (well not exactly but Firmware is permanent software on read-only memory...)

You sure you don't mean a windows update or drivers or something?

So MSI was telling you to mess around with the BIOS and firmware...that's not a great idea really unless you're certain nothing is gonna crash out half way through the update...best bet is to contact MSI as it really does sound like one of the chips is fucked on the motherboard...

The battery isn't removable

It technically is...you just need to remove the back cover and unplug it the hard way :P

Just try the power button thing still as it may work and save you time and stress and it only takes 10 seconds

First thing I tried,  my guess is since I was updating the firmware that controls the power button when the BSOD occurred the problem is that the power button isn't working. Hopefully it's that
