losing keyboard and mouse functionality after POST

I'm experiencing an issue where I lose control of my keyboard and mouse after my system POSTs and begins to load into Windows. It's happened a few times before, but most recently it occurred today. I shut my computer off this morning, came back from work, turned it on, but when it got to the WIndows lock screen, my keyboard and mouse weren't working. I can access the BIOS and make changes there, but I'll lose access when it begins to load Windows. I've tried a few things like enabling Legacy Mode for the USB port and disabling the "fast startup" feature in Windows 10. Below are my specs. Any help you can provide is great.

ASUS Strix X99 motherboard (BIOS v. 0801)

Intel i7 6800K (not OC) 

32GB Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4-2666
ASUS Strix 1080 (GeForce Driver 372.54)
Razer Blackwidow Chroma
Razer DeathAdder Chroma (both in Synapse 2.20)
Windows 10 Home (Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393)

Once the issue occurs, even switching to a generic USB keyboard will give me the same issue.
