Hey Guys, I have posted a similar topic several months ago. But due to personal problems I couldn't follow through with my plan to build a PC. But a lot of things have changed since then. I have selected few parts for my build and need your opinion or if possible a cheaper alternative. I wanna game at ultra settings 1080p 60fps. Mostly titles like battlefield 4 and Planetside 2. Btw I am in the UK so my pricing is gonna be in £. I wanna keep my expenditure less than £800 excluding the GPU. So here are my parts:

Monitor:

AOC I2757FH.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-I2757FH-Widescreen-Multimedia-1920x1080/dp/B00A46Y6DW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=228DO63XM547J&coliid=I1RUCSYL42JT84

I want a 27" IPS monitor with less than or equal to 5ms response time.

Budget for 27" is around £200 to ~ £230

CPU case:

Aerocool X-Predator X3 Devil Gaming Case with 20CM Red LED Fan - Red

Motherboard:

MSI MSI-Z87-G45-GAMING Z87-G45 Gaming Motherboard LGA1150 Intel Z87 DDR3 VGA DVI-D HDMI USB 3.0 Gigabit LAN ATX

Any cheaper alternatives will be awesome. Also I am going for the red and black colour scheme.

Processor:

Intel core i5 4670k.

Didnt go for AMD cuz no good motherboard and wanted to conserve power.

Ram:

Kingston hyper x beast

Unsure about the rams

Just need 8 GB with clock speed of 1800 mhz plus

GPU:

Something from the r9 series. Probably 290. Cuz cheaper than Nvidia. Good for b4, got Mantle etc etc.

PSU:

Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU

Unsure. Any alternatives please.

Peripherals and Storage:

I am pretty sure what I want so I am not gonna list them here.

BTW does any one know where I can get good pc trolleys or desk in the UK. I looked online but I wasn't pleased.

Also has any one used Scan.co.uk. I plan to purchase from the because they provide insurance on the parts. I wanna know if they can be trusted. If you have alternatives, please PM me.

What's your budget? We can't do anything without a budget.

I am sorry to remark such a thing but haven't you forgot to put in a GPU there?

Just wondering...

The R290 is basically your entire budget alone... It is with all probability going to be more then 600 Sterling pund...

He could also save quite a bit by going for a air cooler, something along the lines of a Noctua NH-D14. At least, that's probably what I'd do. And a Define R4, make the system more silent. I don't really know much about that PSU, but I would make sure to chose one that has some silence features in it

Why exclude the gpu?

I am gonna buy cooler after a few months. So price for the cooler wont matter.

Why exclude the gpu?

well it's because I am going to buy the GPU later when I have more cash. I am gonna run games from the onboard GPU for couple of month.

Just spend less on the rest of the parts and get the gpu now. Why get the system and have to wait?

Why wait to get the system if he can use it in the meantime while saving for a GPU? ;)

He still has to wait and use the integrated graphics.
