Airflow is meh compared to other cases at its price range but other than that, I like mine

The front intake grills seem kinda small, hows your intake airflow?

Does anyone have experience with this case? Is the airflow good or does it heat up? Anything to look after if I get one?

I liked it at first but after someone gave me a Enthoo EVOLV because they didn't want it, I suddenly found out how much I didn't really care for it. Airflow was pretty bad compared to the EVOLV, which is saying something since I kept all the same fans. My temps were about five degrees hotter all around in the H440. The matte coating shows fingerprints pretty easily and is harder to eliminate (to be fair the EVOLV isn't much better on this point). The basement was cramped and the PWM hub wouldn't work at all, though that probably is more manufacturer defect then anything. Noise levels were acceptable though compared to my EVOLV they were a bit louder.

I don't know, it's not like it was a bad case or anything but side by side with one from a different company and I noticed a lot more than before. It really isn't that bad and works for some people, it just wasn't for me.

The H440 is designed for silence and intended for liquid cooling, and therefore similar cases for a similar price tend to have better airflow. The airflow is poor by the standard of ~$100 ATX midtower cases—which is to say not that poor.

I can only speak for my own experiences, but my i5-6600K with an H80i does perfectly fine, usually 65°C or lower under load (more like 40's in games). My Asus Strix GTX 1070 barely hits 70°C under load, with the temperature dropping by 3–5°C when I take the side panel off.

I'm going for a budget build ( a solid gaming build ) but I wont spend too much time on it. This case is just a bit more expensive than the one I was going for in the first place. I liked the look of it and it's going to be more of a show piece. I was just wondering if the thermals were really bad or just bad. So I think now it will perform just fine and wont burn up after a few more hours here or there.

I did the original fan setup for a while. Switched to some noctua fans because I wanted some pwm fans. I don't use the fan hub.

Didn't use the hub at all? I've seen that the fans go at full speed while connected to the hub, is that true? Are the case fans good or should I look for for better ones right away?

I've never been a fan of fan hubs as they don't properly support pwm control that you can get from a motherboard.  The stock fans were fine, just not pwm. From what I remember, they didn't run full speed, but didn't allow for much control.

Thrive on change. Embrace volatility.
