I am planning on buying a GTX 1080 and can't tell what the difference is between the many different cards listed. I am not to worried about the price it is the performance of the different cards that matters.

The card that I was planning on going with was a GTX 1080 Aero by MSI, but that was mainly because of the look and color scheme of it. Is there a real performance difference between this card and some of the ones listed above it?

Priorities:

1 - Price;

2 - Warranty and support;

3 - Looks.

They are all the same, performance difference is minimal and can be manually changed very easily, so look for the best price as long as it has good warranty and support and you like the looks of it.

Here's how you chose pascal cards. Out of all your options:

  1. Throw away any blower style and single fan cards. Keep only dual / triple fans and hybrids.
  2. Throw away the ones you don't like the color scheme. For example, I don't like black and red, so the MSI Gaming ones would be immediately out for me. Keep only the ones you find aesthetically pleasing.
  3. Sort them by price.

Pick the first one that shows up. Or pay a bit more if you REALLY like the looks of a more expensive card. Outside of that, not really much of a difference between them.
