Guys i just overclocked my msi gtx 970 i pushed my core voltage to 43

and my power limit 110

and core clock +185

and memory clock +500

im running valley benchmark and im getting 1501 mhz is this good or bad?

Run Heaven rather than Valley. Quite honestly, Valley it's a potato test that's much easier to pass than heaven, or real games for that matter.

Still, if you can actually keep those 1501mhz, you've got yourself a nice overclock.

Er.... what kind of question is that?? How the hell can you say "I'm getting 1501mhz" if you don't know a program that can do that?? It just... makes no sense.... I can't comprehend it........

Anyhow, use MSI Afterburner. Will serve you just fine for OCing and monitoring at the same time.

I don't keep pressing F5 every single second of my life. When I wrote that post, your reply wasn't there.

Keep in mind, higher voltage won't necessarily help with stability, especially given that GPU Boost is a jerk. Not to say that it's useless, that's not it. But don't keep your hopes up.

Wrong train of thought. There's a limit as to what you can do (without resorting to advanced methods); if adding that extra voltage didn't help, then there's nothing you can do about it. Your card can't be pushed as high as you want.

Feels bad, I know, but you can't really do anything other than suck it up and back off on your overclock.
