My dad just called me and said do i want my PC to be fixed or replaced with another PC of the same cost since he said he just found some connection to the repair shop service thing and they can write replace instead of fix....

The PC i had had a i3 3240,Custom HP Mobo (SHITTY SHITTY Bios),4gb ram,500gb,no GPU,Shitty HP Case,300w PSU

The PC i can replace it with i5 4460,Asus H81M-R,8gb ram,1TB,LC Power Pro-Line 928B with 600w PSU (Random one),No GPU (but i plan to add one) for just $50 more ($80 actually buy i can sell my LG monitor which i don't use for $30 ez)

If my dad is able to pull this off ill be singing down the road since this PC ACTUALLY has a future...

BTW : The PC with the i5 costs $550 (Where i live shit is expensive but its actually pretty good for t
he price)

Tell me what you guys think?

From my point of view :

Just please make sure that the stuff you change for is actually in at least decent condition, you should mostly be concerned about the storage and psu, ask if they are new or second hand and if they are not check if the psu is from a good brand. The last thing you want is burn all the new components so you have to pay them extra $ so they repair it (if you dont have a warranty), this is how some of the underground service do, and they put the blame on the client hoping that they have little to none tech knownledge. If the service company is a trustworthy one then have no fear but if not, and the psu is not trusty either, change the psu. You never know what parts are second hand at such great deals so better be safe. (That said as if stuff is expensive there, there would be no reason for them to give away good stuff at such a low price, the difference between those builds is more than just 50$ i believe, but i can be wrong)
