Mouse Pointer Moves Randomly

Hey there, I have a Razer Naga Gaming Mouse and the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Mouse Pad. Randomly from time to time my mouse pointer will dash in a different direction that intended. Not inconvenient at the least. 

I have read online that it can be the sensor, but can it possibly be my mouse pad?

Yea it can be the mouse pad.

It's possible the sensor doesn't like the surface.

 

My previous mouse didn't work at all on a decent mouse pad because the sensor was terrible.

So i was stuck to the horrible cheap-o mousepads... 

 

It might help to clean the mousepad and the mouse sensor. Maybe there's dust somewhere and freaking out the sensor from time to time.
