BIOS FlashBack Help

I own a Asus Sabertooth Z97 mobo and I would like to update the BIOS. The instructions on my mobo manual require a Optical drive and a Wizard program both of which I do not have. Downloaded the latest CAP file from the asus support page for my product, put it on my flashdrive and named it "SZ97.CAP" and performed the setups I was indicated. My BIOS flashback LED stopped blinking after I held it for three seconds as instructed by my manual. Yet in my bios the version on the bottom is not the version on the download and it still stays 2014. Any Ideas?
