First Build. What should I do first?

Just bought these parts, I consider myself somewhat knowledgable, but ya never quite know on a first build.

CPU: AMD FX-6300.

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3.

GPU: EVGA GTX 760 4GB.

8GB Patriot Viper 3 RAM.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220685

Corsair TX series 650w PSU.

Black NZXT Phantom 410.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146085

And shamefully I bought this 1tb Toshiba HD accidentally(I got excited when it was on sale).

Other than my utter stupidity with the hard drive, I think the build is great. I just want to know what I can do with it other than games. Cool applications, hardware upgrade possibilities? I'm planning to install Windows 7 or 8, not sure yet. Please I'm looking for any recommendations here. Thanks Linus type peoples.

Game. Video edit, render etc.

Browse the web with a billion chrome plugins.

and most importantly, (if you're up for it) FOLDING@HOME.

Get an SSD when you can.

I would get Windows 8 because games like BF4 are recommending it. Besides gaming on it, you could spend some time browsing the Store and/or customizing the Metro UI to fit your needs. I would install Windows using UEFI. Here are the advantages of UEFI:http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/10-things/10-things-you-should-know-about-uefi/

EDIT: Add a SSD if you have the money in the future. I would recommend the Samsung 840 Evo.

You could get a 7970 for cheaper than a 760, and it outperforms it by a fair bit. Just so you know, your 760 will not be able to reach all 4GB of its frame buffer at any point in time.

Looks good change to a GPU to a 7970 and see if you can through in an SSD....

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

Christmas time I'm looking for upgrades, be it more monitors or SLI (have to buy a better power supply too, sad face) 4gb will come in handy.

Cheap SSD recommendations?

Are you limited to newegg?

What's the system for?

I'd really prefer newegg, but no. And right now its just for gaming, I might look into more productivity applications (3d work, video editing etc) later, but that will most likely call for a cpu upgrade as well.
