I have noticed a very odd problem with windows that the audio will start to stutter but only after the PC has been running for a day or two, the longer it has been since last boot the worse the issue gets and it's driving me slightly insane. It also occurs on both my headphones (which are plugged into xonar DG sound card) and my speakers which are plugged directly into the mobo onboard sound.

So far I've tried removing AMD audio drivers, disabling other audio drivers, updating xonar drivers and swearing at it. Nothing has helped.

I've been having weird audio issues too since upgrading to windows 10.

That's because you upgraded instead of properly doing a clean install.

poor choice of words. Was a brand new build with a clean install. I meant more 'upgrade' in the sense that I decided to use windows 10 instead of 8.1

I'll just sit here and feel like an idiot for poor word choice now..
