Just finished throwing in all my parts for my first time build.  Even got the system to power on.  All the fans and the liquid cooler come on.  I'm using an HDMI to hook it to a TV to see if it posts and nothing as of yet.  Where should I start trouble shooting?

First, make sure all connections are plugged in. Sometimes people forget that they didn't plug in CPU power etc., so check that first.

Second, clear CMOS by removing the motherboard's battery and putting it back in.

Third, make sure your HDMI is plugged into your GPU (if you have one) instead of your motherboard.

If none of that works, quote me and I'll try to help you out as much as I can.

I say jiggly-bytes when I see "GB".

It goes down better than you would expect.

Wow man thanks.  All i did was move the CPU power over to another input on the PSU and I have officially got postage.  One quick question I have for you.  May be a stupid one.  should the cables to power my HDD and SSD be with my PSU?   Ive got the longer flat one on the left but my PSU doesnt seem to have to the power cables I need

Edit:  I appear to have all the SATA Power i need.  Should my PSU have SATA data cables with it?

Did you buy your PSU used? It should come with SATA power for your SSD/HDDs. Here's a picture with SATA power on the left and SATA data on the right (probably w/o the horrible ketchup and mustard cables though ;)):

Just a rookie mistake.  the Sata data cables came with the motherboard.  I was looking for them in the PSU box.

Ah, I see. I thought you were looking for the SATA power cables. My mistake :)
