So I decided to make a my own linux distro as a project.

The thing is that I dont know where to start, i`ve used linux a bit and I`m not a complete noob but yeah I`m ready to learn if needed.

I need help regarding where to start.

I checked this out -> http://www.wikihow.com/Build-Your-Own-Linux-Distribution

Is there any other method?

You don't need LFS for this. You can make live images based on many existing distributions - saving time on devops, packaging and what not. Going very low level - like LFS - will make the process very very long (and you need a very good knowledge about how Linux system is built).

I really suggested that to give a better understanding of linux in general. I really think reading it, even if you don't plan on going from scratch, will give you all you need to know about it. Building your own distro isn't really useful unless you are adding functionality you need or combining the best of other distros, which really even then you can just install your preferred distro and customize from there.

If you want a web GUI to build your ISO then this is the best option I've found: https://susestudio.com/home

EDIT: I just clicked your link and saw it uses SUSE Studio. You won't find anything easier especially since you don't seem know what you're doing from a development standpoint.

I'd suggest looking towards Arch. I think that is what you are actually looking to do. IE Mate(Mah-Tay),BlackArch,etc weren't created from a entirely blank state.

Arch kicked my butt, when I tried it last Saturday :P

But I aint giving up, I'll beat that sucker next weekend! I mean, after sleeping over it, I realized that my mistakes were pretty minor and should've been easy to fix.

So, go Arch. It's fun, even if you fuck it up once or twice.

I deal in shitposts and shitpost accessories.

Pulling your hair out during arch installs is basically a right of passage. What sort of setup were you going for I run Arch+AwesomeWM.

Just a basic desktop setup with X and Cinnamon.

X did indeed deliver, but I fucked up somewhere else.

Well yeah thats a bit of a downside with bleeding edge distributions like Arch, or Arch based ones.

Because they are bleeding edge means that certain update packages can cause problems.

If you need a linux distribution for stability and reliability then i most of the time dont recommend Arch based distro´s atall.

Unless you are realy an advanced user and know how to fix shit.

Arch is definitely a nice project to try.

I have looked at arround 35 distributions or so, over the last half year, Ubuntu / Debian based, RPM based and Arch based.

Played with them, used them in a VM and what not.

And all of them have their strong and weak points.
