So awhile back I asked for help with finding a gaming laptop and decided it might be best to get a desktop instead as it'll last longer. So I checked around many different sites and found Avadirect to be a good site and was wondering if this is a good deal or if there's anything better. I wont be buying it for probably a few months as I still need to save up a LOT of money.

Yes you are right but I don't have the knowledge to build one myself and appreciate the mostly hassle free process of getting it and just having it ready to boot up. I know I pay a premium for a pre built system but I'm willing to do so cuz I'd rather not screw anything up with my basic knowledge of PC's.

It's Very easy to built a Pc, especially when you know you just saved $700.

Yes I've used the site before. I'm just not entirely sure how building a PC works, I'm sure i could learn and do it. It just seems like a lot of hassle especially if you want to overclock, ensure a good cooling system, etc.

overclock is the same, they don't OC your system, if you want to OC your system you are going to do it yourself and prebuild cannot really OC, because the cooling is bad. Linus has made plenty of guides on how to build a pc, first time it might take you 3-4 hours to get it up and running, but you save 700$...

You can also get better cooled GPUs and better CPU coolers when you build it yourself.

FloRolf's system is really good and balanced, with a insanely fast ssd, but I would maybe get a better CPU cooler like a Cryorig R1 Ultimate or go with single rad water cooling like the NZXT X41

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

I'm someone with little to no motivation to do anything due to my depression and I doubt I'd have the energy to build a PC. I pay a hefty premium yea but for me personally I'd rather pay a premium to let professionals do it for me. I'd rather have it working when I boot it up the first time and do very little to update drivers and such instead of going through the long process of doing it all myself.

The case/model in the pre built system comes with it's own CPU liquid cooler by MSI and an easy way to OC.

I honestly don't think building a PC is something I could do without stressing myself out.

What "easy way to OC"?. It is never easy to OC and I do mean NEVER, when you OC a CPU you need to stress test it to see if the CPU is stable at the given clock speed and then tweak even more, same goes for GPUs, so I am not sure that it would be a good idea for you to OC if you get stressed out quickly.

I know that you can find system builders that will maybe take 100-150$ premium to build a PC for you and maybe even OC it for you. I have no idea where you are in the world so, I cannot help you out there.

There's like one PC repair/build place in my nearby area but it's like shady as heck right next to a tattoo parlor and some place that sells alcohol, whatever it's called. Dunno if I'd trust em lol closest place that would have a trustworthy place would be Sacramento but I don't have a drivers license anyways.

It's one of those "Press to OC" buttons, I know it 100% is a gimmick but it does let me just press the button to change it from base clock to OC without opening up a program. *shrug* I know I'll still have to configure the OC itself though.

I've looked around site after site after site and so far this has been the cheapest option with the most customizability and simplicity per say.

I'm just not the best techy kinda person in terms of PC's and such.
